With New Car platform, CARS24 enabled its users to have a premium experience of exploring cars and help them decide the right car. This project involved understanding psychology of new car buyers and providing them with an ultimate solution which caters to all the needs of different buyer personas.

We endeavored to innovate a new product allowing users to purchase new cars. Through extensive research, we identified that the prevailing mental model prioritized visual aspects. Our aim was to craft an experience reminiscent of a showroom, enhancing the purchasing journey

Emphasizing Visuals at First Glance

People lean towards utilizing videos on platforms like YouTube and Instagram as they offer a more comprehensive understanding of cars. Particularly, videos showcasing individuals driving the car and sharing their firsthand experience provide a richer depiction compared to simply listing technical specifications

Comparing features

Users prefer utilizing car listing platforms for comparing features and prices of vehicles. Additionally, they seek consolidated pricing insights in one centralized location for added convenience

Comprehensive solution

A neutral platform offering an immersive experience akin to YouTube influencers, streamlining decision-making, and facilitating car comparisons for users

We investigated deeper into how car buyers compare cars, and based on that we provided few popular pre selected options to quickly compare cars and made sure that it’s easy to add remove cars of other brands or variants of the same car. We paid attention to clear hierarchy for key features to stand out and have also minimised the features in order to easily consume the details.
